Anyone been dumped by insurance...

if things happend that weren't your fault? I had two claims this past year, old guy backed into me and some jag off did a hit and run in a parking lot. Was talking to some friends over the weekend and one of my friends was dumped after 2 claims in a year not his fault. My insurer hasn't said shiat to me but are they really getting that bad?

Hit and run would be your words against someone else if there is no proof. To an insurance company, it is useless. You still have to pay deductable and a claim will be filed against you.

I did have proof and my insurer waived the deductable because I reported it to the police. I think maybe my friends acciddents may have been worse than he's letting on. He was with State Farm and I've heard a lot of people complain about them in particular.

Different companies have different policies when it comes to wether they will drop you or not. My company for example allows 1 major ticket and 1 at fault accident for each driver under the policy before the rates will change.
