Using Integra springs on 99 SI
Hi Guys, I have a 1999 civic SI that I track a lot at Mosport and the DDT track. (Instructor)
This is my daily car but want to update the springs to 94-01 Integra springs.
I here there have a higher spring rate and will lower the car a bit.
Does anyone no the spring rates of stock 99 si (Canadian) verses 94-01 Integra springs?
And approx. how much lower they would be?
I don`t want to go as low as most of the aftermarket springs, have to drive this in the winter as wellI
I have the Type R front and rear sway bar to put on to help rotate the car.
May leave the stock front on though and sell the R front.
Also can I still but these Integraprings new from the dealer?
Thanks for you help.

Your stock spring rates are 165in-lbs. front and 80in-lbs rear. Pretty soft and progressive, which is not ideal for tracking.
Integra type R springs are 250 front and 250 rear. The fronts are linnear but the rears are progressive. This would definitely be a nice upgrade from the cushy stock springs on your civic. You could use them with your stock dampers, though I'd recommend swapping them out with an aftermarket sport damper, like koni orange or similar type.
As for ride height, I'm not sure where the ITR springs would set the stance.... I've seen itr springs with sport dampers on an eg hatch (92-95) and it sat about an inch lower than stock.
Keep in mind, ITR rear dampers will not directly bolt up to the 96-00 civic coupe rear lower control arms.
This is how I made them work:

Eventhough it worked, I don't recommend doing that...lol.
