upper strut bar

Question upper strut bar

ok so bought a strut bar today and when i bought it, the guy said that i have to jack up the front end when i put it on. is this true? do i have to jack it up? i though u could just bolt it on. please correct me if im wrong.

You don't have to jack it up. The struts have to be loaded and in it's place before you bolt on a strut bar.

I'm jacking this thread for a quick, noob confirmation question. I'm looking into a basic, cheap upper strut bar.

Installation is as simple as popping off the two nuts on either side, put the strut bar on and bolt the nuts back on?
