performance balljoints?

Hey there, I've been looking around and searching on here, google, and hondatech but can't seem to find an answer to my question. I own a 95 civiccx hatch and would like to know if there is a performance grade balljoint out there? something that's more durable then oem? If not, then what is the best ball joint to get? is it strictly oem? or is there anything else? These are the front lowers I'm asking about.

You could get extended balljoints. They raise your roll center thus reducing body roll.

But if you are just looking to replace the balljoint, stick to OEM.

Moog is really good I had them on my plymouth sundance lol. But when they go on my civic I am putting Moog in cuz they are designed for Nascar.

They might be good on your Sundance but here is what they look like coming off a 91 Civic Si after 1 year/ 1 winter of normal regular highway / city driving, no abuse , tracking or any such stuff. The BJ boot was in perfect condition, not torn or ripped. this was the LS. The RS was just starting to go. Warranty / replacement was possible but declined. No thanks. I agreed.

This could have cost some lives or serious injury if the fail had happened at a high enough speed.
Lucky for the owner, the squeeking got louder pulling out of a parking lot. All other suspension components were fine and in proper working order. OEM balljoints were the order of the day after that.

Just a heads up. Also seen some sad stories with the adjustable upper control arm camber kits where the BJ is held in place by a couple of rather feeble looking hex head screws

Hmmm didn't know about this cuz I had a couple of accidents with the car too. Almost hit a church in the winter and jumped the curb and went through the flower bed and was inches of going through the wall. But when we checked it out on a hoist everything was fine had the moogs in at that time. Drove with them for about 3 years. Damn I use to be a Honda Advisor too never heard of this.

Stay on top of your suspension.
Stick with Honda.
If you need OEM honda let me know. (pm me)
I have had my coupe for 5 yrs now.
And just now my left wheel bearing has went and my passenger lower ball joint. It's been winter driven. And I put about 120k on it.
Point is stay ontop of your suspension. My suspension is checked/lubed every oil chnge. And everything is HONDA. Only thing I have changed was oem shocks-Tokico blue-tokico illuminas-kyb agx - KONI YELLOWS.
I always replaced my shocks prior to them actually blowing.
STAY HONDA OEM!!
