Interesting Suspension Concept

Hello All,

i'm at work bored out of my mind just thinking about stuff i'd like to try this coming summer in regards to my car. I currently own a 2000 civic hatchback body style, d16y7 etc....so far most of the work done to that car hasn't been put on the car... engine building ,turbo parts gathering.. etc...project in motion i guess...

The suspension is the part of the Project i haven't thought too hard about.. i was going to go with coilovers but would rather a set of good springs and struts...whilst being bored i figured " what OEM spring would give a good balance for everyday driving and a spirited weekend run around...

now i know EK/EG/DC springs are all the same and it got me to wondering if swapping springs from a DC would gain a stiffer and lower stance and ride...We all know stock shocks/struts hate lowering springs...so my question is ..with stock suspensions from those 3 which would yield a nice set up...what the hell throw in after market springs also...

Example: Ek strut with dc spring either OEM of Aftermarket cause i figure an integra would have stiffer springs as it sits lower and cars more weight in the front.....

Oh and if you think this thread is stupid then please point in in the right direction where all the correct info is posted as searching has yielded me alot of contradictions...

To make a proper judgement as to whether this is going to work or not you need to know the factory ek sping rates and lengths and factory integra spring rates and lengths and compare.
