Whiplash 16-Nov-2007 01:20 PM

lions are back a page Sal..posted a couple, but have more stored
and yes, was the tpmg outing....
unexpectedly it was free entry for the day due to Rememberence day :)

Cynikal.Mindset 16-Nov-2007 02:00 PM

marty what lens did you use to shoot the zoo life? images arent sharp at all...or perhaps its your photo editing software...but whatever it is something is killing the pictures...they almost look "digitally zoomed"

szuberi 16-Nov-2007 03:21 PM

this is for you matt....nice and sharp from my zoo trip earlier on (the cage wire kills it though...i was about 2 feet away from it)

Noise Ninja FTW

szuberi 16-Nov-2007 04:09 PM

i am still learning so i have an excuse..haha. the rattlesnake point and sherman falls pics came out much nicer...i made damn sure the iso was 100 at all times.

Cynikal.Mindset 17-Nov-2007 12:37 PM

100 isnt necessary....I use 400 most of the time but then again, most of the time the ISO is the last thing I remember

my tripod & 13 seconds. the lighting was OK at best there, but i was fighting to get the wb even mediocre. i had it at 2800 kelvin, and it was still coming out extremely yellowish.

szuberi 19-Nov-2007 08:11 AM

xray...i love the boat pic too. the boat is in such clear and sharp focus that it looks as if it is photoshopped on the scenic background..lol

kev...whats up?
