optionJDM: NEW Function/Form Type 2

The current Type II coil-over is a modified and retooled version of the older Type II models. The new and improved Type II coil-over is a complete coil-over with a fully threaded shock body. Through extensive research and development, Function & Form Autolife has enhanced an already largely successful product. While the previous design was very popular, the new Type II coil-over has added features that serious car enthusiasts will find to be irreplaceable.

Added Features:
-one year warranty
-32 levels of dampening adjustments
-dampening adjustments made with a **** that “clicks” at each level setting
-steel construction of the lower mounts for maximum strength
-adjustable camber plates (application dependent)
-adjustable pillow ball mounts (application dependent)
-adjustable ride height from bottom mount allowing driver to retain full shock travel while -- lowering the car
-special oil lubrication able to withstand weather conditions from -40° C to 200° C
-dual tube shock design for maximum ride comfort
-wireless dampening adjuster (Wi-damp) available for most applications
-50 mm McPherson strut piston
-43 mm Double wishbone piston
-Shock dyno chart available

Applications:
90-93 Acura Integra (all models)
94-01 Acura Integra (all models)
89-91 Honda Civic/CRX (all models)
92-95 Honda Civic/Del Sol (all models)
96-00 Honda Civic (all models)

Function & Form Coil over Type II review:
Let me start off my car is a 2000 Acura Integra Type R. I had these coil over for about a week. The ride quality is very excellent, I have it set on minimum damping setting which fells a tad stiffer then stock and if you adjust the damping to the maximum you get a nice rigid feel. 32 levels of dampening adjustments is superior then any other suspension system I have owned and the dampening adjustments made with a **** that “clicks” at each level setting is a very nice feature. The spring rate in which acquire was 12k in front and 8k in the rear, the rates are very street able. There was no problem with the dimension of the coil over and everything fit exquisitely. The two negative things I didn’t like about these coil over was there was no break line brace, which I had to use tie wraps to secure the break line from rubbing. The second thing was there was no owner manual. I think Function & Form came out with a very respectable product that I am proud to be using in my car.

Thanks to Richard and Jon for fantastic service

i saw this at honda-tech!!

Function & Forms type II.
HORRIBLE ride after going this low in the front. Without losing my preload, the shock only went so far down into the cup and didnt look that low at all. I was super disappointed after paying big bucks for these.
So I went ahead and lowered the spring too (yes, sacrificing the preload) and now it rides like complete crap because my shocks bottom out.

i hope your source is a reliable source because everyone who has prchased these from us, has alot of respect for these coilovers.
if the coilovers didnt drop as much as he said he would like it to be, there is a chance that there was a mistake made in the installation process and if he messed around with the preload, obviously the ride quality will be crap.

everyone is entitled to thier own opinion but if you do some harder research, you will find out majority of the customers are fully satisfied.

its funny how all these coil overs look like they come from the same tibet/korean factory as all qualities seem relatively the same. Its like they just paint them different colours. Its kind of like most stereo products. honesly compare all the coil overs... not the high end... but the omni's, function, PIC ETC. I have had all 3 next to each other and they have either charged each other for stealing molds and specs or they just all had almost the exact same production ideas.
