so i bought a 98 dx hatch with 103***km and i love its tones of fun and now i own a hondaa its aweesome. um so far i got an aem shortram from toofastmotors and i just baught 17'' rtx rims from wheelsforless, looks hot. and i also just got a 12'' JL sub and 500w JL amp.

new to the honda world, and excited, cool site, lots of info.

so my hatch is a gocart but its gutless i want it to really thow me back in my seat and pull hard, i think b16? complete swap by jdmenginland???

what can i do?


also i seem some crazy interior part kits in some ppls pics, where can i get one??

Welcome to TCC!! Glad you like your honda ! It looks like you already started with some nice mods

The good thing about honda is that there are tons of options if you want to add more power to your car . However power doesnt come cheap.

Depending on your budget you can go different ways , if a swap id what you are looking at maybe check out the following link to see your options

b16s and b20 seem to be pretty popular if you have a somewhat low budget. B18C1 is the engine most people want/prefer. Although the h22 and k series are becoming popular but they are harder to install

But if you want real power ( 200 whp +) then turbo is the best way to go, your engine has low kms so I would assume it can handle a turbo kit ( try hivelocity as they are the experts)

As per the interior parts , you can check out our used part classified section , a lot of acura , integra and higher trim civic parts are compatible with the civic dx.. Also check out our vendors as they also sell interior and exterior parts
