It might have been an option.

But be happy you have the drums. Most people would think otherwise, but think of it like this: With drum brakes, the drums and shoes last a VERY LONG time and only require an adjustment and inspection every so often. Something you can learn to do on your own which will cost you ZERO $$$. With regards to braking performance, they work just fine. For daily driving drums are great and cost next to nothing to maintain.

Disk brakes wear out and the rotors/pads need to be replaced every so often. They will cost you more down the road and you'll never notice the difference in braking between the two with regular use.

And oh yeah, Welcome to the site!

thank's all , i like the car .. it's very quiet and seem's to get some look's for not being an 370z .
no $ for brake swap but as noted , should be fine for normal driving . i just wasn't so happy about the drum appearance but i had to get a car quick as my other car was having issue's .
i'm more just surprised that 4wheel disc was an option over the apparent 2 & 2 set-up that i have . maybe it was for cost saving for the 2dr version or maybe it's the base lx brake feature since i don't have a sunroof either .

May also be due to the fact that you can't get the 2dr in Japan, only the 4dr. I think the UK only gets the 4dr and a 3dr hatch that we, nor Japan get also.

Sometimes weird differences happen between USDM and JDM cars. Maybe this is a carryover from one of those differences.
