Detroit and some parts of Michigan are nearing that today

ya but the difference is that detroit in itself has gone to **** over the years...meaning the entire city.

why this blows my mind is that this is part of New York City which is supposed to be the greatest city on earth.

that's amazing how much it changed.
the name doesn't fit the area if people remember how it was back then.

I still wouldn't go there

I'd do 3 steps.

1)Evacuate (Everyone gtfo)
2)Level (By level I mean bomb the **** out of the area)
3)Rebuild (Walmart supercentre, YMCA, Adecco Job Agency office, Apartments etc)

do you not realize how many ppl live in poverty in NY. Bronx,Brooklyn, staten island,coney brownsville etc. Its not the way ppl think it is.
