Fantastic 4 2 - rise of the silver surfer

one of my fav characters, this movie looks to be alot better then the intro.

that trailer is awesome.... im all hyped to see this movie.....

silver surfer was also one of my favourites... the story line based around him is awesome.

well ya i hated fantastic four in the comics and cards they were jus so boring and same with the first movie but silver surfer is one my fav characters and i loved the whole history and world revolving around his story

i always thought that Silver Surfer was a good guy no?? Never really followed any of the comics or anything so if someone could explain a bit TIA

silver gave his life for his planet so that galactis would spare his planet, he vowed to serve galactus and up until earth he was bad, later he becomes good and a universal protector

He wasn't bad, basically what you said was true, in order to protect is planet, he became a herald of Galactus to find planets that he could feed on. He tried as much as he could to find planets that were uninhabited. When Surfer found earth, he was convinced by the fantastic four not to go through with it and band with the 4 to fight Galactus. Galactus let Surfer keep his powers, but banned him to our universe, so he basically stayed on earth. That is how the original story went, there have been some variations of it.

It has also been said that Galactus is neithr bad nor good, but a being that just exists and is part of some higher "food chain"
