Fun trick, but really there is nothing special about the picture. Top left is a bit overexposed while the bottom right is underexposed due to your shadow.
What you can try next time is to use a manual f stop in order to blur the background while having the shot focused on you. Currently the camera is focused on the records while you and whatever is behind the records is blurry. I understand that you are blurry b/c you are moving in the 3.5 second interval, BUT you can still do that and be in focus while the rest of the frame is blurred out.
For that you will need to take the shutter speed down one or two stops and take the f-stop up one or two stops. Also, make sure that someone else is pressing the shutter to s1 (to focus) prior to hitting the s2 position of the shutter. This way you ensure that the camera focuses on YOU.
