FWIW, from what I understand, the D300 is a DX (crop sensor) whereas the D3 is full frame.

Oh btw, I just picked up my K10D and 50 1.4

yuppers..that was one owl and was at the african lion safari. i shot this set just handheld using the continuous shooting mode and it came out decent. looking back at the pic...the seams are still somewhat visible. does anyone have an idea how good the adobe photoshop stich feature is over the one that comes with the canon software.

i have a number of good panas but often the seams are still visible.

how do you to remove those?

seems are usually visible when u do a pano with too little overlap between pictures and you end up with lens fall off which is hard to stitch together without seams...you should overlap about 30% between images for best results

the basic technique i use it to overlap (round 30%) sometimes more or less, but then erase away the stuff i dun need. obviously there are a ton of way to do it in photoshop.

At a camera shop in one of the malls in Bangkok....the place was always so overcrowded. Prices were the same as Canada minus the tax so didnt buy much from there except the following..

1 GB CF Sandisk Extreme II - $15
58mm Hoya Circular Polarizer - $30
Small carrying case for my XT - $10

Notice that Canon 70-200 F4L lens on the table...yummy...gotta be my next lens...

DSLR sensors on the wall...lol

My first attempts at HDR

any feedback is welcome... i know they're kinda bright but what i was taking was DARK as hell as I took all the pics at night... Should've taken some shots during the day to get a better balance...
