Thanks for acknowledging them for me RJ. The Casper shields, are glare shileds. It's the company that makes them calls them Casper Shields.
It actually goes at the bottom of the bulb, but you get the idea already. It prevents the light hitting the bottom of the headlight, then projecting upwards right into the face of drivers.
They are actually 8000k, and while people may hate on me for having 8000k and not doing a retro-fit, I am happy.
I got this kit for dirt cheap, it does the job, and definatly provides lots more light than my halogen headlights. Regaurdless of hot-spots, glare, etc They do the job for me. However, when these bulbs go I am considering getting 6000k or less.
