Looks like everyone had a good time though.

So If my car had an engine swap I would get charged for having a stolen motor since the VIN and B-series don't match?

Just goes to show that regardless of the type of stupidity involved, there will always be those immature or outright stupid enough to engage in it.

I don't think it will ever stop. I have stopped driving like an idiot I just keep it 10 over speed limit if empty streets or stay with traffic. Saw an red eg hatch on keel yesterday pushing through cars while I stayed in one lane and I ended off going faster than him since he got cought on lights. And idiot almost hit me once.
I've learned something over past 3 months, even though I drive slower ill get to where I'm going maybe 2 minutes slower and save some gas. Now 2 minutes are nothing so what's the point? Yet I do not think that people realize this.

i realized this too, even if i do the speed limit i barely save anytime at all, but do save a lot of gas, used to spend almost $10 a day and get home with an empty tank, now i get home and still got an 1/8th tank left, going the speed limit saves on gas big time and using cruise control. if i want to drive fast ill just go to the track. $20 on fridays is fine with me so i dont lose my car and license and get a stupid fine and not kill someone or myself in the process. Some people arent mature enough to realize or just care about it, usually young kids cause they think theyre cool with their 90whp d16 trying to prove theyre the fastest to their friends and half their friends are probably still driving their parents cars, i see this kinda **** daily.

its not just kids that dont realize this.. i see all types of different aged drivers and races driving erratically thinking that lane hopping and diong jack rabbit starts and stop will save them more time without realizig how much gas they're using up.

What i did notice is that newer cars come equipped with an LCD display information that shows you just how much gas you're burning up based on how fast you're driving. Which helps make people realize that going 10-20 over the speed rarely saves you maybe 5 minutes but prolly uses up a lot more gas.

But than you'd have to think these people would have the notion to actually use that LCD display or even get to that display if it's not the default information.

Street racing will never stop! It has always been a part of automotive history and heritage, and will continue to be, no law will ever change that.

so a many people will get busted, but then they will continue anyways. highways, streets. doesnt have to be organized. often when im on a light at night and some ricer pulls up starts looking at me, reving his motor and when green light goes on, they burnout and push to over 120km/h in a 60km/h zone.

It will never stop. Unless we enforce the death penality to street racing...even then, there might be a few who will still brave it.
