this was explained on H-t. they said that powder coating the rims, makes the alloy weak, which tends to make rims brake easier. but regardless Rota FTL....

I've seen pics of other rims like that as well. Its not just rota. It can happen to pratically any rim.

pretty common, i've seen volks being deformed and other name brand wheels breaking offf

I remember reading about those wheels, those wheels were tracked only so I guess eventually it gave out under stresss.

There actually Circuit 8's .. i have a set of those and also a set of circuit 10's .. There fine... i've also took them on the track.. and there great...

They can happen to any other rims...
