So the good

-Underbody is mint! I was shocked!
-Interior in excellent shape for its age
-Motor D15B7 is in awesome running shape. However I want to get rid of this with the tranny ($100 for those interested)
-Mechanic said all that was needed was a new alternator and a windshield to get safety

The bad.

As you can see theres alot of rust. Probably 60 hours worth. Haven't pulled the carpet and its a bit of a hidden surprise waiting for me.

Got this 1993 Honda Del Sol S 280k for $500.

Progress so far...

Well learning about most of the bad (haven't taken out carpet in cabin yet).

I had already began cutting the metal on the passenger side. I will begin the driver's once I finish and figure out how to leak out the gas tank.

I really need to get advice on how to remove the bottom panels on the bottom of each side. Some of the plastic screws are damaged and can't use a driver to thread them out!

FYI don't attempt to work near sparks in boxer-shorts. A ****ing hot ash hit my sack. I swear I jumped 10 feet.

this is what I meant about the panels on the bottom of each side.

Anyone got any suggestions?
