Not so Fast Hemi....

if the driver does everything right.....technically the new civic si can not beat the srt8. that car has too much torque to push it endlessly. stock srt8s run low to mid 14s with ease while the best i have seen with a stock si is around 15..give or take half a second.

yea, typical civic owner exaggeration, always trying to feel fast, that is just off the line, the hemi was probably spinning tire, and or the driver had a slower reaction time. please don't make me laugh, you did not beat a srt-hemi charger, i have been in them they will rape a stock 4 door si.

i previously owned a magnum srt8 and just sold it 3 months ago when i bought my civic, there is absolutly no way you would beat the charger srt8 in a civic, you might of had him off the line cuz its automatic and a bit sluggish off the start but in the end he would of smoked you no problem

i think your right.. its just an r/t too much wheel gap in the rear, even when its launched.. SRT's are lower with massive rims.
my buddys dad has an SRT8 300 and my old winter beater EF with a 99gsr with cams and other internals would pull it till about halfway and them the power would unleash and he would be right back to me and i was running a 13.8 with spinning tires.
also SRTs have hood scoops on them.
