Losing intrest

Truth is, human nature gets tired of everything.
End of the day, it's just a car.
Enjoy it while you can, learn from it - and that's that.
You want change, always a good thing - go for it.
Regardless, I appreciate hard work done to any car. And if you really care about what others think, horrible start.
PS> VeeDub, apparently is no longer made in Mexico, so workmanship should be better, but then again... we live in a disposable society, where everything messes up once the Warranty is over.
For me, Jap anyday

i've lost interest a long time ago. i think i'm just about out of the scene. i've honestly thought about selling my car and going big...either toyota tacoma or land rover. test drove a land rover the other day but its a v8...can't afford the gas.

Thats the way I started looking at it. If I sell now, i'll get the exact same amount even if I invested the $1000 in suspension....
Dont matter....
Sold it and bought the audi and dont regret it ever

I've been through a few cars,
so far I like my civic the most, Maxima was nice and comfortable but that gets boring fast =) to me there is no sound like a high reving motor, bike > big rumbley v8 IMO
so far I've been through
91 Beretta GTZ Q4
90 Integra SE 4 door
94 Golf CL
92 Maxima SE
2000 Integra GS
96 Civic CX
96 Civic si
I definetly enjoy the civic the most, its the most plain next to the golf, but its more fun to drive then alot of other cars, even my sister i nlaws celica GTS (95) doesn't have the same feel
I <3 my civic =p though I would much rather have a TL

honda civics are excellent cars for the purpose they were designed to. the sad part is that due to the neverending aftermarket support available, alot of young owners give in to peer pressure or the 'scene' and stretch themselves too much by modifying the vehicle.
i know your feeling however...too many new cars on the road these days make you feel you want something newer...more powerful and advanced. if you have the budget, why not.

the dumping money thing is not an issue
i knew it what was going to happend at the end of the road, as does everyone else who mods their ride.
the scene is not what is was a few years ago. im guess im growing up a bit
r32 is the only way to go for sure, but the gti is the closest us canadians are going to get to that.

After researching the horrible reliability that the VWs have vs. Honda i'l stick to my Civic and enjoy it ion the streets, instead of the repair shop
When i need parts, japanese used parts shop: starter $40 vs a starter for a VW probably find it from a junkyard $200.
Don't get me wrong, VWs are cool in thier own way, but i count reliabilty 1st if im gonna drive anything.
