^^ you talking about a pnp kit or a retro...there is a quiet a bit of difference b/w the two when it comes to wiring.

i think i might retire this battery as well.....its 7 years old anyway. actually...the battery died during the test last night..haha....had to boost from another car.

Yea, I'm talking about the crappy pnp kit. I don't have the time to do a retro fit. How long is a battery good for b4 it kicks the bucket? Is that why you're not getting enough juice?

update...

1. got a new battery and installed it. 500cca as opposed to 410cca OEM
2. shrouds are done and installed. this was a ***** to do since the shrouds did not go all the way back to cover the projector arms. i had to make a custom liner to prevent any output leak.
3. tested the kit again last night and everythng works well so far. i am always second guessing myself.

Next step is to seal the lens cover back on top of hte headlight. not sure how im gonna do this cuz i dont wanna put the whole hting back in the oven....perhaps i will use a hair dryer or a heat gun to melt the sealer on the rim of the headlight and then put the silicon adhesive on top.

pics will up in a moment...

to make a liner to cover the back of the shroud, i used a top portion of a yougurt container..lol...painted it with high heat flat black paint...it fits perfectly and covers a rim of around 1-1.25 inches in the rear. this was in addition to putting aluminium tape around the projector arms to prevent light leak.

I really wanted to add a black trim around the shroud projector...to give it an overall custom look. so i took the rubber circular ring from the bottom of a dog dish..lol...and placed it around the rim of the shroud. a mix of black and chrome looks cool.

both the plastic liner and the rubber ring are on....

so just a couple of more days before all this goes onto the car.

This kind of creativity and resourcefulness is impressive, Salman. Kudos to you.
