Uh right. I told him to paint that in the front because of the mesh that is going on.

Maybe they had difficulty trying to mask it behind the bumper so they say, "ahh f**k it!"

The colour looks awesome, but I have to say that I am not feeling the front bumper and hood. What matters is that you like it.

They should have painted the bumpers off the car, not on it, but with it all being molded together, thats kind of hard to do.

i gotz to agree with BlazeInEK, a lot discouragement coming your way. then again, you did post inviting for everyone to post what they're opinions are. There's a fews things i would have changed but i wouldn't tell you that's what you should have done cause we gotz different flavours. The only thing i would comment about is that it does look like a little sloppy in paint work. Inner wheel well got sprayed, behind bumper(which you advised, so okay).
All in all I hope everything works out for ya man! Good Luck

We should all take the initiative to NOT encourage sloppy work. People that don't know what they are looking at might come and look at this thread and assume since everyone is saying it looks good, that the paint job is also good despite the fact that it looks like a beginner did it.

We're more helpful to the OP and readers of this thread to point out things like this so that it is brought to attention and can be corrected.

Agreed. Constructive criticism and completely trashing someone's car are two different things...pointing out flaws in a practical way, not just giving a negative opinion, is a much better method...and suggesting how improvements might be made is useful to everyone reading the posts.

^maaco does a 500$ paintjob and im pretty sure there will not be runs everywhere.

the runs are the issue here, not getting what he paid for.

He paid 1500 to paint it, have some body work done and the bumper molded... He got what he paid for. i'm sure it's not the greatest quality paint or clear.

wow, the inner fenders got painted...hmmm, fender liners go back on in there, no biggie...paint behind the grill area, fairly normal for cars with big mouth kits...looks better than white or whatever and is easily remidied with a can of flat black...all trim was removed for paint, thats more than I can say for most places that offer an economical paintjob alternative.

if he paid alot for the work then there would be serious reason to nit-pick but he paid an average cost and got an average job if not better I think...other than maybe the side mirrors need some paint unless he has some next ones that are painted to match...as for runs, I hope you have seen the car in person cuz its impossible to tell from these pictures the actual finish especially run-wise

just ask yourselves "IS HE HAPPY?"

why would you choose a fender that doesnt have any lines that correspond to the lines already on the car, and a hood scoop from a LS1 SS Camaro.
