Ah I knew that car looked familiar. Its featured in the February 07 issue of Super Street. Pretty detailed build up on it, to summarize its a k24 stroked to 2.6l, JE pistons, darton sleeves, comp ratio of 9.0:1. Garrett GT35R turbo, NX direct port nitrous system. Power is estimated at 700-plus hp.
I've always been a fan of the fit, but this one is just insane.

I don't think so!
yes any turbo making 700hp is considered a Large turbo,"large" in short meaning the largest turbo out there that would fit.

Funny, when I started reading this thread, I thought some past TCCers had returned to posting here. Then I saw the thread date of the OP (hehe, have to look twice at these older threads ).
