typically yes...but the trend is changing if you look at the market over the past few years. there are more beefed up sport sedans today on the road than ever before...so you get the best of both worlds.

Acura will have the type-s version for literally all of their sedans very soon (Csx, Tsx and even the TL). Mazda will be launching the 250hp speed3 model, speed6 has a damn turbo. Nissan has the SER Altima. Lets not talk about the germans..lol...i read somewhere that a revised M3 sedan is in the works.

Moreover, look at the revision Chrysler went through with all their sedans...damn cars are pushing over 400-500 hp numbers with their SRT versions.

Infact...i recently participated in a customer feedback survey at one of the nissan's dealerships and one of their questions was..what would an existing nissan owner prefer when buying a new sedan for both family/fun purpose...and performance and sportiness was on everybody's mind.

die gas consumption lol....

i dont understand the rumor behind this whole TSX COUPE.

why would acura do that? if they wanted to they would have released it when the TSX sedan came out or a year after. THEY WONT release it 3 or even 4 years into its production because its time for a make-over and the coupe would be out dated. Unless they plan on doing a makeover and then introducing a coupe.

The reason why the rsx coupe was eliminated in the first place was because ACURA wasnt to compete with Lexus and Infiniti and they didnt want a base model car that the below average market can afford (just look at the pricing of the new cars especially the RL).

RSX is leaving the acura lineup so it can come in to the honda line up as an integra. The integra was one of honda's best sellers they would never get rid of it permanently. The Fit was brought in to satisfy the youth and younger market which before wasnt served.

Civic SI would never come to canada because it would compete with the CSX.

I cant see Acura having a sports coupe on the low end (ie. CSX) there is a chance for the TSX to have a coupe version but definately not anytime soon especially with the current body styling.

Don't like it.
Why won't Acura make a new Type-R with the same body style as the old Type-R's, love that car.

Its alright, but I don't like the tail lights, nor do I like em on the csx. The front end is alright. The wing has got to go. It also needs to be lower.
