I know someone who works there and I am getting a nice deal for it.
I just wanted your input on the setup, and how it would sound.
I usually listen to rap and R&B. My car is a 2004 civic coupe so any suggestions on this?
Waste of money or bad choice of subs, amp? Box type?

decent setup my friend has the same pretty much but hes got 2 12s sounds pretty good in an integra

its a nice set up.. but i would go with a larger amp something that pumps 500 rms @ 2 ohms x1 ... youll get the best out of your subs.. IMO they sound really clean expecially for the price..

try and have a listen to it either by instore demo or in someons cars (best idea since vehicle transfer functions help make it more real of how its gonna sound, opposed to on the demo board)

go with the GTO 601.1 for an amp

580w @ 2ohm, turn down the gains a bit and yer set..

would sound awsoem thats for sure..i say save up a bit more cash and go with the 601.1 as well
and since u said u got hook ups who work there.. the cost on teh 601.1 wont be too much.. ull prob pay.. i'm taking a guess at it.. but judging but jbls mark up on other things around 400
