Viper alarm 791xv

i got this alarm installed 791xv
i noticed the siren alarm portion is not as loud as some other alarms,, is there any adjustments i can do to make it louder or do i need to replace the siren portion only?

right on the horn..

red wire/power
black wire/ground
and there's a looped wire there as well (thinner than the other two), comes out of the horn and goes right back into it.....cut that

you could always add one of those piezo 110db interior sirens...trust me, its loud and on the inside of the car, but you hear it on the outside too. combine this with the regular siren and you should be good to go. depending where you got your install done, many places have it for $25 installed plus tax. try our afffiliates such as selective sound or audio heaven

you could add a second horn....
where is it mounted now, could re-locate it elsewhere if the sound is being "blocked"
lots of places on the Gen7 to put horns

that reminds me..added task number 101 on the to-do list

add it to the present one, but put it under the battery..

just patch off the present wire for positive, and ground it at the horn

the viper sirens i noticed are quieter then the normal ones say from a compustar. i dont know why but when i had the 791xv it was the same then i changed to the 900fmr model by compustar it seemed louder but i went ahead and added 3 more sirens two more piezo's and hooked the factory 2 horns to it too

Why don't you add another siren, that way it will twice as loud. A new siren is around $10.00 I could sell you one if you want.
