vinyl door skins... help plz

we need help..

my bro was doing his 92 civic hb doors in vinyl last night.. he was wrapping the piece that isnt black.. the arm rest and what not. he popped out the fastners and then rubbed rubbing alcohol all over the piece.

he sprayed about 2 layers of spray glue on both the viynl and the plastic piece. he used "Trim Adhesive -- Bonds trim & upholstery materials".. anyways, the stuff didnt stick too well. at the time it was working nice, but we woke up this morning and the stuff can be pulled off easy.

anyways, can someone tell us some other spray glue to use, or another type of glue. somebody told us to use 3m spray glue, just want to get some more opinions..

thanks for the help

FOOOOOK, the spray stuff is garbage, even 3M...that's what I used the first time, and it pulled off within the month. It's meant for bonding styrofoam sheets together and fabric on wood, not vinyl on plastic... gotta use the brush on stuff... do both the panel and the vinyl, let it sit and get tacky, and then BAM!!! you throw them together and it's done....PERMANENTLY, so be very careful.
