Subwoofer problem
I have a box in my car and the original speaker was mounted inverted instead of the conventional speaker style where the magnets are enclosed in the box...Anyway, should I buy a 12 and put fiberglass fill in the box? or just put in the 12 and have a hollow box with the speaker cone facing the box? Anyone want a Help?

no matter which way (standard/inverted) you mount the subwoofer, you need to put some sort of fill inside the box, lining it.
As far as which way to mount it - which way do you like better?
you need to take airspace of the box into consideration to get the full potential from the box and sub combo.

the box is about .90 cubic feet and the original mount of the speaker was inverted to show the "cool magnet", now i' wondering if i should put fiberglass fill in the enclosure and have the speaker invented or should i place the 12 inch the conventional way without fiberglass filler
