well we sell these at my work and that was the first thing that came to mind... they are wireless 2.4ghz security cams

can be hardwired or can battery operated... this thing could easily be put in place into your trunk/ bummper or whichever and the monitor is small enough to be molded onto ur glovebox or something...

they sell rearview mirrors with the LCD screen already in 'em, all you do is wire it.

oh ok... I dunno anyone who would actually mount a CRT black and white screen in their car that particular game ('luxury' add-ons like TVs and stuff) is about flexing your wallet rather than flexing your creativity. so I don't think that's any place to try to save money.

thats an ugly and bulky setup

you can find colour bullet cameras for alot less, even have infrared leds on them for night vision, you just need a deck with an LCD or an external lcd for them, no bulky b&w like bruno said, plus crt is big.

ya, i don't think i'd be putting that camera anywhere it might get wet..
it's obviously meant for interior use only (like in a house)
