removing vents and centre vents

removing vents and centre vents

how do i remove the center black dash piece with the 2 vents and the passenger side air vent on a 93 civic si coupe???

i know there has to be like clips or sumthin...but i dunno where they are..someone please help!!!!

passenger side air vent you should be able to pry out (carefully of course, like with a butter knife or something along those lines..)
pry out the center instrument switch (below the clock, have a look in there for another screw..might be one, might not)
remove the 2 screws from the top of the cluster (which i believe you've already done)
grab it from the passenger side and begin pulling it towards you..there's clips that should release as it comes forward..

i tried it won't come out...is it juss clipped down???

did you have a look for a third screw??
behind the hazard button??

other than that, ya it should just be push in type clips

First things first, take out the hazard light, theres a screw behind it. Take out the next 2 screws above where the gauge cluster is, then its all about prying with a butter knife

there's a plug on the back of it you can release once the dash is part way out..

Are you the original owner of the car?
Cause when I took my interior out it seems like the old owner broke a lot of the clips, and decided to go crazy with his glue gun
