questions about installing audio

questions about installing audio

i had an aftermarket cd player and a pair of stock speaker in my 92 hb, and i am going to get a new cd player and new speakers.
so should i change the speakers wires???
coz it looks so old...
is it very hard to change it by myself??

if it works fine leave it, your doing more work for nothing.

and you cant really change it you can only add more speaker wire, well you could take out all the old stuff but then your ripping apart the dash and side panels to rip out the stock wire instead of just running some new stuff

but for your avg cd player stock is more than fine.

Yeah, what Loudsubz said. I had to pick up some rockford fosgate speaker wire because I needed longer wire, and I had to rip **** apart, but that isn't necessary if your is a good length.

I rewired my whole system cuz it was easier, plus I wasn't running anything off the deck... all amps. So the deck just needed all the power wires hooked up and the RCA cables, and then I had to run new speaker wire from the back where the amps reside to all the speaker locations. But I pulled out everything from the car from the headliner to the carpet, so it was easy to do.
