Power Lock

Does your car already have power locks?

I installed an AutoLoc kit for my 93 Si Coupe. It cost me $99 US, but it had two 5-wire solenoids, a lock controller, and an alarm with keyless entry.

Just so you know, a 5-wire solenoid has sensors on it detecting whether or not the lock is open or closed. So when you pull any of the locks open or closed, the system detects it and opens or closes all the other locks simultaneously. I went that route because I was too lazy to wire up seperate lock/unlock switches.

so u install autoloc kit urself???
is that hard?.

There is a guy on the message board that is selling power window kits for 150! I bought one from him last night. It has everything you need in the kit. Three switches, caps for your where your window cranks are and boxes to put the switches in if you want. I haven't installed it yet, but they are brand new and he is selling them at cost.
