I drive a 7thgen civic do you guys think that if I paint my hood black would it look okay or would it look ricey I am not too sure about it though just don't want to spend the money on a carbon fibre hood just want a cheaper alternative thanks for your replies.

P.S. might piant my trunk also have a black and silver interior so was think of bring that theme to the outside.

yah i think it would look okay too man........i have always been debating weather or not to paint my hood black or not too...........what color is ur car.....wait it doesn't matter.....LOL i think it would look good no matter what......as long as u do get it done properly like scarlemthug said

Dont paint it, theres carbonfiber looking vinyls out now. just wrap your hood in that stuff, it will prob be cheaper and look better

why not just save and go for the carbon fiber, it looks great and lowers weight, plus there is a sale on buy someone in group buys for 550 which is a damn good price

whats the point, it'll cost you $200 to paint the hood. Why not save up a few hundred more?

i wouldnt put the wrap on. First off it'll probably start bubbling or fade because of the sun. Secondly have fun getting that **** off, your paint will mostly likely go with it

black hoods rock... expesially when they have "vtec dents"... got it for free and painted it with no more then $10 of paint

my red hood was suicidal and smashed itself on my windshield... RIP
