Oh noes my floor is soaked :(

I have winter mats in my Civic, and I never paid much attention to it but I just lifted up the mat and the whole carpet on the floor is jsut SOAKED . Like if I push on it with my finger tons of water comes out.

I do delivery w/ the car so I'm kind of in an out of the car all the time that's probably why...I always tap my shoes to try to get snow off them every time I get in the car but I guess it didn't help .

What the hell do i do? I'm scared it will rust if it just stays soaked, and it's not exactly gonna dry on its own with this weather and me using the car every day putting more water in it...

Any tips ? Anyone else have this problem ?

That use to happen to one of my old cars.

I just used a small heater from Walmart and long power cord and put it in the car over night. come out in the morring and everythings dry.

oh yes small electric heater left unattended inside a car for long period of time inside a damp area...nothing could possibly go wrong.

i never had a problem. just dont turn it on high and leave it in a puddle.

but it was just an idea. you asked a question and I gave you an anser that worked for me.

Just use the air line with a blow gun attachment, it'll dry it out quick. Try maybe that waterproofing boot spray, that my gf use on her stupid UGG boots.
