will my oem EF seat brackets work on aftermarket seats... i'm plannin to get an aftermarket seat.. but however the shop was tryin to sell me the seat brackets as a pair when i only need one and he says it comes with two.. and i can't use my oem brackets...

ur OEM will work, but its def not a bolt on affair, your gonna have to get creative and find the best way to attach your OEM rails to the aftermarket seats.

They sell aftermarket rails that are made for aftermarket seats and should bolt up alot easier. Well worth the investment

if the shop is charging too much for the brackets then you should attempt to do it youself. If they aren't charging that much you should buy it. it will save you the trouble of fitting them.

95% of the time it will not be direct fitment with stock brackets...
best thing, is to purchase them or get a show to make you them, or go on ebay and get them there, can be found for 30-60$

i have seen them for cheap on ebay, in store yes bout round80+, all depends where you go, and so on... items like n e thing for your car can be found in mor ethen on place for more then one price...

yes, but i have seen them cehapper, ebay is just that, they don have the same thing everyday, if you search around everyday you will find cheaper and cheaper

i'm just drilling holes into the 'legs' of the bracket for my new seats. It's only 1/2" off.

the simplist solution is usually the best.
