Question Need some fresh eyes, floor harnesses interchangable from 96-00??

OK i looked over this a few times, and cant seem to come to a conclusion. I need some fresh eyes.

I got a 96-98 civic d16y7

Installed 99-00 power doors

now ive narrowed it down to this floor harness as what i need to get these puppies wired up, Now my doubts/confusion is what year of harness should i purchace, the 96-98 d16y"8" harness or the 99-00 harness

or do you guys think it even matters

im thinking well if i get the 99-00 harness it will def plugginto the doors, but will the other ends be compatible with my fusebox and accesorys, like ebrake, seatbelts, rearharness plugg..

now if i go with 96-00 harness it will plug in play, but will the doors be compatible !!

Trial and error is the sure solution but I would like to get the right harness the first try, without having to buy both.

opinions??

96-98 or 99-00 or i worry too much either one will work 96-00 is interchangable

IMO use 96 ones, as the 96 one will work with your chassis, which means, if you DO have to splice something it's pretty simple cuz the doors have fewer wires than the main harness

anyways, prolly the reason it's diff't part numbers is cuz of the electronic heater control or prehaps diff't color wires. other than that, it should be all good.

ok thats what i was thinking too. get the 97SI harness, and cross my fingers that its the same door connection. If not then ill have to splice, hopefully the colours match up lol!

hmm need to find somone around here with a 97 SI to compare clips.

It would be a shame to spend 250 and endup haveing to splice wires. Might as well just custom wire it all.
