yea, the outputs are the problem I think. Me and my retard buddy didn't label them when we first put it in so now I think they're going to the wrong places. I'm gonna take the drivers side of my interior out today to run them through again.

I spoke too soon. The front right speakers works and it doesn't. I didn't run the speaker wire again so I'm assuming that theres a semi-loose connection somewhere. *UGH*

I just bought this deck a few days ago from 2001 audio/video in Newmarket. I paid $553 with a wiring kit and tax.

I'm going to be using an older PPI 404.2 to run my components.

I know monster makes some really good audio/video cables.

Update: I just checked out some stinger rca 'higher end stuff' I have to say they look really good.

That's all they retail for? MSRP on Alpine's site is $500usd heh. The CDA-9833 (although I paid nowhere near this price) was $650 + tax from the shop I got mine at.

very nice deck man...my buddy bought that the day it hit Factory Auto Sound in Windsor (now he just has a Alpine indash) he's crazy about his Alpine Equipment

your gonna love that deck though, it's a bit confusing to work with at first but you'll get use to it

I wasn't planning on buying my Alpine CDA-9855 deck for a while.

The guy at 2001 audio video said they're on sale for $449 + tax.
I was thinking to myself that's a good price. That was on friday night. I returned on Saturday just shortly after 10am and bought it.

you mean whenever you go over a bump or something the functions on the slide touch changes?

no, it's very sensitive so when you're trying to change something and hit bumps you often hit the wrong menu.
