hey guys this is mostly for anyone with experience with EF's, i have a 91 hatch and my cluster is not backlit? I thought this was normal but i have seen pictures of other ef's and they are backlit and people talk about LED modding them :S im confused because my car is not backlit lol if anyone could chime in it would be greatly appreciated.

Do the L.E.D mod. It look great 
On the 90-91 cluster there are 5 #74 bulbs to replace..
Just replace the bulbs. No other modifications are required.
Just twist out the brown socket and take out the oem bulb.
Then slide the LED into the socket.
You might find that some of them don't work. It turned out that the polarity was reversed.
Just pull the LED back out of the brown socket and rotate it 180 degrees.
It really brightens things up, but maybe is too bright while driving at night ??
The bulbs installed are the Super White Matrix II 5 LED bulbs from AUTOLUMINATION.COM

Loll my ef doesn't have back lighting at all so I don't even know if I can do that mod, my cluster light is on top of the gauges and it shines down into the cluster :S it seems really ancient lol, if you need me to put up pics just let me know
