how do I stop my alarm from going off???? it goes off even if i put my own key in the hole, and it doesnt go off when i push the button for like another 10 seconds....its bugging me and my neighbours....its a viper alarm, with two buttons, i just bought my new car today, and i dont know how to use this f*ckin thing

before entering vehicle, hit button #1 once. if it chirps once it's armed, if it chirps twice it's unarmed... if the chirping is disabled, then watch the lights... same applies, light flash once - armed, twice = unarmed.

lol that sucks, i bought my car it has an alpine alarm installed, i used to use it but one day a neighbour came over to my house freaking out saying my alarm would just go off in the middle of the night, then shut off like a few mins later so i told them i wouldnt use it

also when i arm the alarm, it takes like 5-10 mins of holding the button to disarm it :fustrated so i said screw it and stopped using it
