DQXS is a digital processor/cross-over..144 possibilites
6 in and 8 out
1/3 octave front and subs and 1/2 octave for the rears
if i had another amp i'd be doing the tweets on a seperate channel
it also allows you to slow up a speaker to better control front stage or delivery to the ear

DDC is a remote for the DQXS so it can be controlled from the dash...
8 presets so i can run 8 different "competition" configurations or adjust on the fly

EPIC-160 is a bass enhancer..
most CDs these days have a lot of bass taken out cuz the mixers don't feel most systems can handle the lower notes etc..
this adds those frequencies back in by analyzing the entire spectrum coming from the cd and adding what should be there back into what goes onward to the DQXS

good thing is a guy that use to judge for IASCA is gonna drop by and tune the system once it's all done..... MINT!!!!

dunno of anything out there better for ICE

ya, i could go with a dssp but it's redundant imo with a comp system when set up right

Marty and I are redoing his system and we just received those pieces yesterday really good product but is it ever expensive, but you gotta pay if you wanna play. Can't wait to get all done and see how we do in Iasca this year.

Yes the end result will be crazy but I don't want to give to much away on the install so everyone will just have to wait till it's done.
It should be done soon we are waiting on some special order parts still and I think Marty will do good this year. One more thing Marty knows his **** when it comes to car audio so we have a very focused goal and sound we want to acheive. So, Yes Marty is crazy and that's why we get along so well, these systems are what I live for, building cool and crazy stuff, we work good together. Marty is totally hands on and can do anything.
