MP3 Deck

Hey guys,

Looking for an mp3 deck that'll play mp3's without a pause between them. You know when you burn an audio cd without the 2-sec pause? I've only seen one deck that allows you to do that with mp3s. All other decks seem to have a 2-4sec pause between mp3s no matter what. I've seen one 2 head units that drop that pause. One was a Kenwood that a friend ordered from Japan via Ebay....the other was the top of the line Clarion but that's selling for about $700.

Thanks,
Dreggs

when you burn it, why don't you just burn it with no pause?? If you use adaptec they have that option for sure, pretty sure any non-basic burning programs will allow you... Don't need to pay extra $$$$ for a no pause cd player..

hey Dreggs man hows it going long time no see
ill be honest with you
the only MP3 decks that i would EVER recommend are any of the Kenwood or Sony ones
in my past ive tired various other ones from Clarion, Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, and Sony and ill say this
the top of the line Clarion and Pioneers were not even as fast as the low end Kenwood

so i say have a look at the Kenwoods and the Sonys
i have the Sony MP70 and i love it

I think you're talking about Audio CDs.. you can't burn an MP3 CD without a pause.. an MP3 is basically a data CD with mp3 files on it so it's basically the deck that handles whether or not it needs to pause between songs.. maybe the pause is to preload part or all of the song before playing..

you burn mp3's to a cd ... each is a separate file but the pause between songs is the deck loading the next file if it's designed right it can load the next file while the last one is finishing ... hence no pause....

no no
thats not what he's talking about
its the BUFFERING on the player that causes the pauses
for those Pioneers with the Fish and race cars and **** on the display had the WORST buffer ive ever seen
too the player almost 5 seconds before if played the next song and that was just letting it go in order of apperance
like 1 2 3 4
really sucked

its to buffer on the player not how he's burning them
IVE HAD AN MP3 DECK SINCE THEY FIRST CAME OUT
I KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!!

slow buffer longer pause
fast buffer shorter the pause
i can show you what i mean this wednesday if you come out to the meet there Dreggs
and you can feel the POWER THAT IS BASS!!!
