Made a ghetto custom horn
unforntunately I bought my car and the horn didn't work
so I installed one using a door bell button..
one end connects to the positive battery and the other end connects to the positive terminal of the horn
and then of course the negative terminal of the horn just connects to the negative terminal of the battery.
it works when i push it!
buttttttt theres one problem i'm worried about. the Button stays lit...
will this kill my battery?
i dont wanna be stranded somewhere for a boost.

is it one of those doorbell buttons that stays lit all the time so you can hit it in the dark? it does draw power i donno how much, but i'm sure there is the potential for it to kill your battery...
if you wanna keep the doorbell thing get one that doesn't light up...
or trouble shoot what's wrong with your steering wheel or the wiring to the regular horn...
(btw, the negative terminal of the horn shouldn't be hooked to the negative terminal of the battery, just ground it on the chassis)
