I just picked up a brand new MA Audio amp for under $200. Its the HK 597 model and is 200w RMS x 4 @ 4ohm. Have any of you had any experience with these amps? i have a sub from them and it pounds like crazy

i got it installed and holy **** it sounds so much better.....i only have the gains set on half cus i dont wanna blow my speakers

MA is generally considered to be "lower end" gear and the prices would certainly suggest that , however the 2 MA audio competition 10's that I bought over 2 years ago are still going strong and can consistently hit 135dbs in a small sealed box. Not to shabby considering I picked them up for under 120 buxors! Long story short some of the MA stuff is a steal for what you pay for it.

If you want MA stuff go to XS Cargo on Dundas st. in Mississauga. (one light west on dundas from Dixie and Dundas intersection its on the south side)

I just went today and here are some of the items from memory.

10' subs look like they can take a pounding $**
they also have 12' and 15' I am guessing $20-30 more

MA speakers
4' component $50
5.25' components$60

MA amps.
200x2 rms $100
They also have other two and four chanel amps for under $200

equalizers and 2 and 3 way crossovers.

Stinger and Monster cable car kits from $15(10g) to $100(4g).
They include fuse holders, remote wires, U termminals, battery clamps...

Anyways go check it out.

XS is where i got my stuff, but listen the component speakers though nice looking are really quite ****ty, i blew them really quickly. The subs are great though, and the amps are actually quite decent to, I won first place at sound quality with MA subs and an MA amp driving my front stage.

Like I said they looked like a good build. But thats good to hear because I was tempted to get one of these amps for my sub, so I just might now.

Didnt you read the thread at all? Its already been mentioned once or twice that xs cargo carries MA stuff.

Actually I have heard the MA Stuff and it is really loud.

I was quite impressed with the NEW line not the older stuff.

big magnet.. probably an OVERLY huge surround.. that LOOKS better... but anyone that tried audiobahn stuff.. knows that thats not a big deal
