latest custom interior mod..

i finished my custom rear speaker / cargo cover panel finally.

when i purchased my car, although it was an si, it never had the factory rear speaker mounts or the plastic covers for them. along with that, i never had a rear cargo cover, so i decided to make one that would hold 6.5" speakers.. but also get a little creative

my friend and i designed the panel, and it turned out extremely nice. its all made of mdf wood, and fits just like the factory cargo cover, it also has a hinge so it operates just like it too.

the pictures arent the greatest..

ive got alpine type r 5.1/4" components up front, along with the alpine CDA-9805 deck, and then the alpine type s 6.5" rear speakers

i have a jbl amp that is going to power my alpine type s 12" sub, and the alpine MRP-F240 (40rms x4) is in the mail, coming in from new york..

my next interior mod is going to be the sub box, and then vinyl my seats.. then a little fixies here and there and then onto the my next car if all goes well

Your speaker covers look like little miniature rims. Hehehe.

Looks sweet, i'm in the process of doing the same thing but with a different twist. Instead of 6.5 speakers im putting 6.5" component system with two tweeters and crossovers. I want to mount the amp right in the middle. All of my audio is infinity.
