how do u remove a climate console in an eg civic
#2
This is what i found , i m not sure if it helps
Start by removing lower center console, glovebox, lower panel on drivers side.
6 bolts holding complete dash on. Open both doors, there is a small panel on each side, remove them and there is a bolt there. After removing glove box, there is a bolt on the lower right corner(as seen in pic) same goes for the drivers side but in lower left corner. Pop off the vent on top of the dash, bolt behind that. After removing the lower center console, the is a bolt near the carpet. Now pull the heater control cable off the heater box below the glovebox. Unplug any connectors(5 total)including pass side airbag there are 2 connectors behind the center console the others at the fuse box, remove the 2 nuts and 2 bolts that hold the steering wheel up, let sit against seat. Now on the pass side air bag, there are 2 brackets that mount the bag to the frame under the dash, remove the nuts. Now you lift the dash up and out if you got all the bolts out.
BTW i did not write this , someone else did so credit to him

Lol yes its pita. I remember trying to pull out mine to replace bulbs, gave up on it. Though I didn't have a service manual which would have helped a lot, but I ended up switching bulbs when I did a black dash swap.
Also the trim, from what I remember, you have to remove the dash and its riveted on or something. I know it doesn't come off by prying, I tried lol.

To take out the climate controls, remove your headunit and look up under the climate control you'll see two screws, remove them and disconnect the heater cables and it should slide out. As for the grey bezel the dash has to come out to remove that.
