High pressure AC hose replacement.

I need to replace a 92/95 completely discharged A/C system High Pressure Hose.

My question is what if an do i have to put on the threads.

I have heard teflon tape, nothing, etc.

The Honda bible doesn't cover it.

Anybody know for sure.

It uses R-134a

Can you help a brotha out??

Anybody know?

Its not the hardest, but no one knows Orange teflon is rated for high pressure, high temp, corrosive materials... like gasoline, steam, oil, natural gas. I don't know jack about freon or R-134a... You need to ask someone who installs air conditioners, or fixes refrigerators... or simply ask the dealership person who charges/fixes A/C problems. You won't find a straight answer on the boards for sure (unless someone here is in HVAC).

He already has all the parts.....just needs to install the hose....evecuate the system...then recharge it. Total time if the shop is lazy.....a couple of hours.
