help with power locks....what should I do?

guys I need some help with my power door locks. They have been flakey since I got the car in october, finally about 3 weeks ago they stopped working. So I took it to Sisley Honda and they fixed what they call "poor connection to door". The tech person that I dealt with said that the pins/connectors at the bottom of the door weren't making a good connection so they reconnected the pins and bent them so that it wouldn't come off again. BUT, just yesturday they started acting up again. I'm so pissed off right now.....it pisses me off that this **** is happening. I'm so tempted to just sell the damn car. I hate when these little weird things happen that are impossible to fix. If I go back this will be the 3rd time I have had to go there to get these locks fixed. once to get them to look at the car, a second time to get them to fix it, and this third time to get them to look at it again. Which means I will most likely have to go a 4th time. I don't really have all this time to continue going to there to get them to fix something. I live at keele and 401 and they are at steeles and yonge. every time I go it takes a half a day.....and I only go there cuz I have heard good things about them. And also, i think my warranty is up this december....is there anyway to find out exactly when its up?
so, what should I do........ideas PLEASE.
anybody else have a door lock problem?

Hey are you driving an eg? Same thing has happend to me. It happend about 5 months ago...and i just left it. I tried to change the power door lock module and that fixed it for a bit but then it screwed up on me again.... It's probably the actuators themselves that are causing ur locks to dysfunction. Either upgrade to aftermarket or replace with oem.

Lemme know what u decide to do.

cheers

how can an aftermarket unit be better than a stock unit? I don't understand. My car isn't really that old, I shouldn't be having this problem!

Have you spent more than $50 bux trying to fix them to date???

Then how can you go wrong...

You are correct you shouldn't be having this problem...

But you are...

I would complain loudly to the shop manager at Sisley..

If they gave you a bill for the work as fixed then drive it right back there and demand it is done right...

Don't forget to demand a loaner because you don't wanna be inconvenienced again..

Just wondering...I am going to get a 92 civic 2 dr coupe soon (don't care what model), and I was wondering...supposing it does not have power locks, power windows or a trunk popper, how much would it cost to install all of these things?
