depending on what you want to do, there are different steps, it aint easy and I would not recomend doing it yourself for a first timer, but 1 way is the just cover the existing panels with fiberglass, sand and paint, but the weight added is a little more then most people want to add, or you can custom make molds (using wood, styrofoam and wax paper) and do it that way, many ways to do it, alot of room for major error. hope this helped a bit. I would suugest buying a used dash and door panels to do it on, if you **** up, you always got your original stuff to fall back on

a shop will charge upwards of 1500-2000 at the least to fiberglass your interior. I think what 92teg is trying to say is you would get some fiberglass mat and use resin to bond that to the top of the plastic piece and then after you have it thick enough just sand it smooth and paint. It is a very LONG process if you plan on painting it yourself as you have to sand all the way up to atleast 1000 grit sandpaper.

get some pieces to experiment on first. A friend did his car and the passenger door completely split from closing it too hard. Make sure you reinforce areas likely to crack.

Fiberglass interior looks good when done, but it takes a stupid amount of time and effort.
