EK cluster (w/ tach) into EK hatch CX (w/o tach b4)?
Wassup all!
I have a 97 CX hatch back (automatic) and it didn't come w/ a tach. So I was wondering, if I put an ek cluster which has a tach, is it just plug-n-play (as in will everything work by just plugging it in)??? Thanks!

Any 96-00 Civic or 1.6EL cluster will fit. You just have a few harnesses to unplug from the existing cluster and plug into the new cluster and the plugs are colour coded so you can't screw up. I have a 97 1.6 EL cluster in my 96 CX now. Truly is plug and play

yep plug and play ... ussually when they wire the cars they wire for all features then only plug in the ones needed for that car in the case of the tach it's just one wire that on your current gauge cluster connects to nothing but it's apart of one of the harasses so it's there and ready to go .. have fun ....
