Eg door panel fabric.

I'm getting the itch to mod or customize my interior.
After not working on my car for over 4 months now.... as a car guy I need to do something!

I want to replace the stock grey fabric and continue my black interior theme.
First it was going to be black suede, but now I'm thinking grey Coach fabric...

Suggestions? Pics?

PS: Where can I find Coach fabric?

As you can see the ugly grey stripped cloth isn't working.

i did mine in black suede.... just bought some material from a fabric warehouse.. its cheaper... then bought some contact cement.. removed the panel and the fabric from the panel.. clean it up a bit... then applied some contact cement to the panel and some to the fabric.. not too much on the fabric or else it will seep through.. just enough to cover it.. then wait till both dry... and then start sticking it together.... once its done just put the panel back on and just reinstall..

some of the stuff takes alot of common sense... if you aren't handy then don't bother or else you will just make a mess... to remove the fabric panel i dremeled the melted plastic that holds it on off.... to reinstall i justed a washer and a short fat screw... when you start doing it you will know what i mean...

Yeah I'm pretty handy and know how to do it but black suede seems overrated.
Looking for some creative ideas.

i personally would say stay away from Suede if it's your daily driver. You have to be too maticulus with it since it's a more delicate material. i have black leather gsr's up front in my coupe and stock panels so i know what you're saying about tackiness. everything else upfront is black except the panels so i'm thinking of doing something about them too. Maybe a black leather or even all black cloth would make everything come together better.

Go for a black cloth....no leather/suede.
Like J-Ski said....suede is to delicate. Cloth would be much more durable.
