they make 80 amp AGU fuses

if you can't find any, go online...or better yet get a MAXI holder and MAXi fuse.

Problme with AGU fuses is alot of them are made of poor quality, and the solder in the end caps heats up, and the fuse melts, and could potentially start a fire. They do make good AGU fuses but alot of stores don't carry them.

your question is very unclear

if your asking if you can put an 80 amp agu fuse right after the battery INLINE then yes you could, but most likely when you turn it up its going to pop.

you need to make sure your wiring is suffecient, if your running 80 + 60 amps at full tilt your gonna need 2 awg and 140 min ANL

then drop those fuses in the AGU dist block in the rear by the amps

o.k lets start over
right now i have 4 AWG... i will be getting a 150A ANL for the front by the battery
i want a fuse block to hook up a 2 30A amplifier (mids and highs)
and the 2 40A amplifier for the subs
can i use the 60 amp agu and 80 amp agu for the fuse block

yes

you don't have to have them the same size if thats what your asking? 2 X 60 amp etc.

or if your asking if you can run a single fuse instead of double, yes, they just use ATC fuses in the amps because there smaller.

throwing in an 80 amp should be fine, you will likely never even draw that much current.

states

check local

give selective a PM, lockdowm, or audio heaven see what prices they have

you might have to step up to a MAXI fuse holder with 2 awg input and 2 4 awg out (you can still put the 4 awg on the 2 awg input)

i havnt seen to many 4 awg in dist blocks with 4 awg out as well.

well P=VI

the voltage drop on an 8awg wire is more significant on longer lengths, if you keep the length to about 1ft max from dist block to the amp, an 8awg is more than acceptable so yes you can run it no problem.
